TED Talk Review

Hello everyone! Welcome back and thanks for sticking around!

Today’s post is a personal review of the TED Talk 5 Ways to Listen Better by Julian Treasure.

Basically, TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas.

This morning I started my day by naturally laying on my phone for an hour or so until I decided I should really do something with my life.

Eventually, I got up and made myself a huge cup of coffee and flipped open my laptop and decided to watch a TED Talk.

We are always surrounded by noise. You have to intentionally seek out quiet.

This talk I have actually heard in the past and it was great and I wanted to listen again. 5 Ways to Listen Better is about how in our crazy, loud, chaotic world, we’re losing our listening, and how to retune our listening skills.

It’s about 8 minutes long and easy to turn on and listen to during your morning. In my opinion, this talk is extremely eye-opening and I highly recommend you listen!

Talk soon!
