February 11, 1999, at 7:04 in the morning, I came into the word. I was born over a month early and was very small (3 pounds 14 ounces to be exact), which led to the name of Grace.
I’ve been on this Earth livin’ it up for, as of today, 19 years. There have been ups and downs over the past year. But then again, what’s a year in the life without them? And a lot has happened throughout year 18. Allow me to elaborate.
I started my 18th year in the midst of my senior year. It was my last going on the annual winter retreat through my church. Each year the senior high group (grades 9-12) got together and we went up to Spring Hill. I always loved going there with my friends and bonding as well as getting to know each other even better.
I also had the opportunity to travel to New York City with my family for spring break (bottom left), I went to my senior prom (top), and went to my last archery banquet with some of my best friends (bottom right). The year of 18 was full of lasts.
My 18th year was also full of firsts. The last highlights of my 18th year were graduating high school and moving into college and beginning my freshman year of college.
A big thank you to my 18th year on Earth for being a year that was full of lasts but also firsts and for being a year that shaped me.
Overall, my 18th year on Earth was a good one! I look forward to seeing what 19 has in store for me.
I hope you all enjoyed!
